The company was incorporated on 24th July 1912 to take over the Aldershot & Farnborough Motor Omnibus Co. which started six years earlier. the new company absorbed the Guildford & District Motor Services in 1914 and subsequently acquired many other operators within its area which covered West Surrey, East and North Hampshire. This batch of AEC Reliance's, numbered 558-562 (MOR 558-562F) were fitted with 51 seat dual purpose bodies by Willowbrook to the standard BET design. They were the first 36ft long buses purchased by the company, being delivered in May 1968. In 1972 Aldershot & Distrcit merged with adjoining Thames Valley to Form Thames valley & Aldershot Omnibus company Ltd who traded as 'Alder Valley'.
