Hornby R1019K "Flying Scotsman" complete trainset, with 3 coaches

The LNER Class A1 4-6-2 locomotive and classic teak coaches in this set depict the Flying Scotsman as it ran non-stop from London to Edinburgh in the summer seasons of the 1930's. The prototype locomotive had a corridor link through the tender to the coaches to allow crews to switch over without stopping the train. The set includes loco, two LNER composite coaches, one LNER brake composite coach, track oval with siding, buffer stops, tranformer and controller, power clip and TrakMat. This set is the same as the R1039 set but with only 3 coaches instead of 4. however it is considerably cheaper.
