The Company was formed in 1935, when East Midland Motor Services and Yorkshire Traction purchased the share holding of a Sheffield coach company owned by Arthur Kitson. Later ownership of the company was shared between East Midland, North Western and Yorkshire Traction, becoming a member of the BET group in 1942. In postwar years the company provided an extensive range of day and extended luxury coach tours both in the UK and in Europe, using vehicle chassis supplied by AEC and fitted with Plaxton coachbodies. The coach in their familiar livery of red grey were also success entrants in coach rallies held in Montreux, Nice and Brighton.
