25th Squadron was originally formed in Montrose, Scotland in September 1915 and saw much action throughtout the UK and Europe during the two world wars. Reformed in 1989, 25th Fighter Squadron was eventually based at RAF Leeming, North Yorkshire. The Squadron disbanded on 4th April 2008. This aircraft was given a special livery to celebrate the disbandment of the Squadron.
