The 305 Heers Flak was in the Normandy area during the invasion and was charged with protecting key installations and positions from Allied air attack. This vehicle has kill markings for three aircraft and appears in a hastily applied two-tone camouflage. The 2-cm Flakvierling 38 was used extensively on the Eastern and Western fronts by both the regular German Army and Luftwaffe units from 1943 to the end of the war.
