Stan Robinson Ltd began in 1970 when Stan Robinson acquired a second hand vehicle and operated as an owner driver. This small entry into the haulage industry has now developed in such a way that in 1999 the Company achieved the prestigious award of GÇÿHaulier of the YearGÇÖ. The Company operates from its headquarters in Seighford, Nr. Stafford, employing 180 staff and a fleet of 90 vehicles. The Company has three depots in Willand (Devon), Darlington and Glasgow which operate a further 70 vehicles. Each depot has itGÇÖs own workshop as well as a weighbridge to prevent vehicles being overloaded.
