Reading Buses, a division of Reading Transport Ltd is one of the seventeen remaining municipally owned Bus Company's and in 2001 celebrated its Centenary. The Company boasts one of the most up to date fleets in the country. Since its introduction in 1999 the Optare SoloRider has proved to be a thoroughbred workhorse with an excellent mechanical record.
