The AEC Regent III RT was one of the variants of the AEC Regent III, produced jointly between AEC and London Transport. It was the standard red double decker London bus in the 1950s and outnumbered the better-known 'Routemaster' throughout the 1960s. This bus type was produced in huge numbers and features the classic rear step-entrance design of the era. The Regent III RT featured prominently in pop-culture and some were even rebuilt as a triple-decker vehicle called the "Knight Bus" for the third Harry Potter film.
