Hornby Terrier Sound Fitting Guide
Before sound fitting your Terrier, you must first remove the body. If you have not already done that, click here to find out how.

Remove the 6-pin blanking plug from the chassis. Hold the PCB board with your other hand so that it remains secure.
Installing a sound decoder requires a little more work. Cut back the socket mount to create space, and solder in a decoder and speaker. You will need a small speaker since there is not a lot of space inside the locomotive.

Finally, reattach the body, screw it back on, and replace the coupling socket. Again, be sure to keep an eye on the sand pipes to avoid damaging them.
