Delivery Charges & Information
The delivery charge is dependent on the total weight and size of your parcel. The weight (without packaging) of items is shown in your shopping cart (except for items which are not yet in stock).
To see estimated delivery costs, add the items to your cart and proceed through the checkout process. Prior to the payment request, you will receive a comprehensive list of delivery options available for the country where you intend to ship your order.
UK Delivery Options
We cannot guarantee same-day despatch for the following shipping methods. We despatch orders Monday-Friday and aim to send parcels within 48 hours of payment processing.
- £3.00 - Royal Mail Tracked 48 - This service is tracked and delivered in 2 - 3 working days. This service is only available for orders which include 1 model road, tram or air vehicle (bus, lorry, plane) under 600mm in length.
- £3.75 - Royal Mail Tracked 48 - Max weight 1.4kg - Tracked service & delivered within 2 - 3 working days.
- £4.00 - Amazon Shipping - Small Parcel - less than 2kg
- £5.00 - Amazon Shipping - Large Parcel - more than 2kg
- £5.00 - Royal Mail Tracked 24 - No guarantee of same-day despatch. (Includes BFPO).
- £8.00 - DPD - Next working day with tracking. No guarantee of same-day dispatch. Includes SMS alert if you have provided us with your mobile phone number.
- DPD 2 Day (Prices Vary - See Checkout) - Two day with tracking. No guarantee of same-day despatch. Includes SMS alert if you provide us with your mobile phone number. Outlying areas (Scottish Highlands & Offshore Islands, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
- £7.00 - DHL Express Domestic 24 Hours - No guarantee on same day despatch - up to 10kg
Same-Day Dispatch (Weekends & Bank Holidays Excluded)
Orders placed before 2PM (UK Time) Monday - Friday qualify for Same-Day despatch. Orders placed after 2PM are not guaranteed to leave us on the same-day, but will leave us no later than the next working day.
Any orders to outlying areas in the UK could incur a delay of up to 2 days.
- £9.00 - Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm - Place before 2pm Monday - Friday for same day despatch. Items must weigh under 2kg when packed.
- £9.00 - DHL Guaranteed Next Day Delivery - Place before 2pm Monday - Friday for same day despatch. Items must weigh under 10kg when packed
Any orders placed with total item value over £350 at despatch qualify for free delivery. (UK mainland Only. Excludes outlying areas including Scottish Highlands and Offshore islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, and Channel Islands)
- £0.00 - Royal Mail Tracked 24 - Free delivery for orders valued over £350 at despatch. No guarantee of same-day despatch. Up to 3kg only.
- £0.00 - Amazon One Day Shipping - Free delivery for orders valued over £350 at despatch. No guarantee of same-day despatch. Over 3kg only.
For orders which include 'prohibited' items (such as knives, paints, adhesives etc.) we are unable to offer a free delivery method.
You can place a "Kerbside Pickup" order with us, for collection at one of our lockers situated at 17 Montague Road, Widnes, WA8 8FZ. Find out more about this, HERE
We require a £5.00 deposit for this service, which will be refunded on your card after you collect your order.
Kerbside Pickup orders are usually ready for collection within 24 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays. You will receive a booking email when your order is ready to collect.
When you come to collect your order, please bring with you the code from your booking email. This is required to access the keysafe and open your locker.
The “Hattons Trunk” service enables you to pay for & “secure” items - and have them held at our premises. You are able to freely add further items to your “Trunk”, including pre-orders, which can be set to "Add to trunk when it arrives & notify me via email".
This service is also useful for overseas customers, to combine items that arrive in stock at different times into one order and save on postage costs! Find out more about the Trunk Service HERE.
Transport of Liquids
We are unable to transport liquids overseas due to security risks.
Missing and/or Damaged Parcels
If you have not received your order or if it has arrived damaged, we require you to contact us within 7 days of despatch. In case of damaged items, kindly keep the package and its packaging as it will be required to file a claim.

International parcels are despatched by:
- EVRi (via Local Delivery Partner)
- Royal Mail

Please note that we are unable to send any liquids overseas due to security risks.
All overseas shipping options are cost-based on the weight and value of the goods ordered. The Royal Mail standard Airmail service does not have a tracking number or signature requirement. Signed for Airmail services are typically £3.50 extra per parcel, tracking is only available while the parcel is in the UK and a signature will be required upon delivery. Please note in the event we cannot ship your parcel using the service you have chosen, we will contact you and let you know.
To see delivery cost estimates, add the items to your cart, proceed through our checkout pages and you will be given a list of the different pricing and delivery options available for the country you want your parcel shipped to. You do not have to complete the order or transfer any payment to be able to see this information.
- BFPO - £5.00 flat postage rate. Surcharge may apply if order is more than 2kg and it is not possible to split into smaller parcels.
- ROW - Charged at cost and value of goods.
In the event you do not receive your parcel sent via Royal Mail Airmail within 20 working days if you are an EU customer, or 25 working days after despatch if outside of the EU, please get in touch.
