Hornby LSWR Class 415 'Adams Radial' 4-4-2T
Initially a class of 71 locomotives, the Adams Radials were built between 1882 and 1885 for suburban commuter services on the London and South Western Railway. Quickly superceded, the majority were withdrawn by the late 1920s however three were retained for use on the Lyme Regis branch for which they became famous. The three survivors remained in use until 1961, with No.488 passing into preservation at the Bluebell Railway.
The model, announced at the annual Warley Model Railway show in November 2014, is available in BR black with ealy emblem (R3333) and late crest (R3334) as well as LSWR green (R3335). Forthcoming releases include Southern Railway wartime black (R3422) and BR black with late crest (R3423). All are available to order via our website Here.
