Graham Farish are producing a new N gauge model of the BR Mk2F 'Aircon' Coaches and DBSO, following the release of the OO models. The Mk2 coaches were British Rail's second design of carriages and aimed to improve over the Mk1 in several key areas, most notably improving its crash protection. The Mk2F variants were constructed between 1973 and 1975 and featured full air conditioning.
First EP Showcased - 27/11/2018
Bachmann have displayed the first engineering prototype of the MK2Fs. These samples show the level of detailing that will be applied to the final models - with plenty of defined underframe detail and much on the ends; particularly so on the DBSO cabs.
