Heljan O Gauge Class 37/4
Heljan are producing an all-new variant of their popular Class 37 in O gauge, depicting the 37/4 sub-class, which were fitted with Electric Train Heating equipment as part of the mid-1980s refurbishment programme. Initially based at Eastfield and Inverness in Scotland, and at Cardiff Canton for Welsh passenger duties, the 37/4s became associated with some of Britain's most scenic railways and have always attracted a large enthusiast following. These models are expected into stock in Q1 2019.
Painted Samples Showcased - 27/11/2018
At Warley 2018, Hattons were kindly shown the latest painted samples for the Class 37/4. A total of six general release models will be available covering usage throughout much of the lifespan of the class, including: BR green, large logo blue, InterCity Mainline, EWS, Regional Railways and Railfreight triple grey. These are early samples and there are still some amends to be made but the well applied liveries and wealth of detailing parts gave a good impression of how the final models will look.
We will provide details of the painted samples for our two Hattons Exclusive models in BR large logo blue in due course.
