Hattons Originals H4-6T-901A 6 wheel 3rd Generator Unit DE320104E in BR blue & grey - Limited Edition of 300

From our research, this coach was used as part of a British Rail Exhibition Train along with Cinema Coach DM395017M. It is believed to be a GER 6 wheel 3rd Class Lavatory coach built in 1898 at Stratford works, one of 180 constructed. Its conversion date is unknown but it likely had a life of departmental use from the 1920s/30s up until the 1950s. The coach was likely paired with the cinema coach from 1956, before being repainted into blue & grey during 1965/66. It looks to have been withdrawn at Wolverton by 1968 before being scrapped at Doncaster Works in 1971.

Judging by the side panelling, the toilet compartment was stripped to house generator equipment and tools to power to cinema coach. During this period, it was well travelled, with mentions of it at Southampton, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and Bury.
