OO Gauge (1:76 Scale)
Class 5MT 'Black 5' 4-6-0 45253 in BR black with early emblem
DCC compatible but no socket
There was almost nothing that a Black 5 could not do and they were a favourite with the loco crews because of their excellent power output linked to economical running. However there appearance did suffer at times and it would not be unusual to see these 'masters of their-ácraft' badly in need of a clean. This model clearly shows such a Black 5 which would not look out of place on most layouts. Powered by a 5 pole motor, this totally new model fairly bristles with a mass of factory fitted detail parts. DCC compatible.
