Originally out shopped with a streamlined casing, "Duchess of Rutland" was rebuilt in 1947. This Super Detailed model shows 'Rutland' during the interim de-streamlined period when the front end of the smokebox was 'dipped'. This distinctive lines of the 'Duchess of Rutland' are further enhanced by the model's Super Detailed features which include a split footplate and smoke deflectors without extensions. The model is powered by a 5 pole motor housed in the locomotive.
