Princess Class 4-6-2 46203 "Princess Margaret Rose" in BR Green
DCC compatible but no socket
Designed by William Stainer, and built at the LMS Crewe Works in 1935, 'Princess Margaret Rose' remained in mainline service until 1962. Owned by The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust since 1996, it is now undergoing an extensive overhaul. This Hornby Super Detailed model incorporates separately fitted hand rails, glazed cab, sprung buffers and an abundance of detail befitting such a locomotive. The model is powered by a five pole motor housed in the tender, providing smooth and controllable slow speeds running.
