Hornby R2169 Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 35028 'Clan Line' in BR green

Arguably the most famous of the Merchant Navy Class. 'Clan Line' was the last of its type to be rebuilt in October 1959. At that time the locomotive had achieved over 400,000 miles but by withdrawl the mileage had increased to nearly 800,000. 'Clan Line is now maintained and operated by the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society Limited and can be seen hauling a distinguished rake of Pullman coaches. As with the other Hornby Merchant navy modles, 'Clan Line' is powered by a 5 pole motor housed in a locomotive.
