As an Official Supporter for the Commonwealth Games England team, the National Express sponsorship deal runs until the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The partnership was endorsed by Sir Andrew Foster, the Commonwealth Games England Chairman who was delighted with National Express’s involvement as a major corporate sponsor so early on in England’s 2012 campaign.

The coach company’s support was testament to the potential and talent of the England Commonwealth Games’ team. In honour of their sponsorship, National Express painted two of their coaches in a gold and silver livery which were used to transport the England team between venues at the Commonwealth Youth Games on the Isle of Man in September 2011. Mainly operating between London, Brighton and Heathrow Airport they covered an average of 300,000 miles per year – the equivalent of 11,450 marathons!
