Western Airlines Inc was founded in 1925 as America's oldest airline and bought their first DC-3s in 1937, when the airline was first known as Western Air Express. On April 17, 1941, they merged with General Airlines and National Park Airways to form Western Airlines. Western operated up to 20 Dc-3s until 1959 when the last was retired.
