Class 8P 'Princess Royal' 4-6-2 6207 'Princess Arthur of Connaught' in LMS crimson lake
DCC compatible but no socket
As with the Duchesses, the Princesses were designed by the LMS for their express fleet. 'Princess Arthur of Connaught' first went into traffic in 1935 and, by the time of her withdrawal in 1962, had travelled more than 1.5 million miles. This Super Detailed model includes fine scale valve gear, separately fitted hand rails and whistle, lamp brackets on the front of the footplate, cab glazing and much more. The five pole motor housed in the loco body provides an impressive traction effort as well as controllable slow speeds.
