The four-cylinder Castle Class introduced by GWR in 1923, to handle ever increasing West Country passenger locomotive, cleared for use on all routes without restriction and were built in Swindon. 'Earl Cairns' is presented in the post Nationalisation livery of the late steam period. Model has a ringfield motor in the locomotive.
