OO Gauge (1:76 Scale)
Class 158 2-Car Super Sprinter DMU 158868 in Regional Railways Express livery
Motor fitted but no DCC socket. CAN motor
The unit can easily be adapted by the removal of the Regional branding into one of the units operated by Virgin Trains which are based at Newton Heath depot inManchester. The unit is in "original as delivered" colour scheme.
The Class 158 is DCC Compatible but is not provided with a socket or plug. Common opinion is that a lot of work is required to install a decoder to this model.
Information on installing a DCC Decoder to a Class 158 can be found by clicking on the following link http://www.bachmann.co.uk/pdfs/issue8.pdf
