The junkers Ju-88 was one of the most versatile aircraft designs of the second world war abd despite initial operational setbacks, it became an invaluable asset to the Luftwaffe. Regarded by observers as the German equivalent of the De Havilland Mosquito, the Ju 88 was uder in a multitude if roles from fighter to flying bomb and was produced in huge numbers.
