BARGAIN

During the locomotive trials of 1948 then then fledging British Railways Board experimented with different locomotives to see how they performed on tracks outside their normal region. Part of the trials was to try different combinations of locomotives and tenders which resulted in the classic pairing of Bulleid's West Country "Bude" and a Stanier Tender. To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of not only the locomotive trials but the formation of British Railways, 2008 limited edition models of "Bude" coupled to a Stanier tender, complete with numbered certificate have been specially prepared and are presented in a commemorative pack

The Skale Lighting range of plugs, sockets and ligh bulbs brings a further touch of realism to the Hornby Skaledale range.

By using the simple combination of plugs, sockets and leads a Skaledale street, village or town can appear to "come alive" as night falls. For best results it is recommended to paint the inside of the buildings black before installing the lights.

New Products & "Advance" orders

We are unable to supply accurate information regarding the expected delivery date of soon-to-be-released products. We are one of the largest model railway & model road vehicle retailers in the country - and so are always amongst, if not, the first to receive delivery of brand new releases.

We allow you to place pre-orders for many items - all these listed at our ehattons.com Forthcoming Releases page. We also allow the opportunity to sign up for a "Delivery notification" email, which will be sent when the item arrives into stock, but this doesn't create an obligation to order.

New items appear on our websites at least within a day (often minutes!) of delivery, and in our magazine advertisements after 3 to 7 weeks.

This site is updated continuously, and reflects current availabilty and prices
