£21

32-113Z

Class 08 diesel shunter D3232 in BR plain green (no wasp stripes) hinged door weathered. Hattons Ltd Ed of 508. 8-pin socket

Built in 1956 as 13232, renumbered as D3232 and then 08162 it was finally retired from service in 1989 with RFS being its last mainline owner. A short time after being retired it was bought by the East Lancashire Railway and restored into the BR green livery which it carried for a lot of its life.

Lovingly known as Prudence (or Pru, a name D3232 carried when in service with RFS) it now shunts the carriage and wagon department at Bury and can be seen most summer Friday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes shunting the dining train in and out of Bury.

508 of these models have been produced.

New Products & "Advance" orders

We are unable to supply accurate information regarding the expected delivery date of soon-to-be-released products. We are one of the largest model railway & model road vehicle retailers in the country - and so are always amongst, if not, the first to receive delivery of brand new releases.

We allow you to place pre-orders for many items - all these listed at our ehattons.com Forthcoming Releases page. We also allow the opportunity to sign up for a "Delivery notification" email, which will be sent when the item arrives into stock, but this doesn't create an obligation to order.

New items appear on our websites at least within a day (often minutes!) of delivery, and in our magazine advertisements after 3 to 7 weeks.

This site is updated continuously, and reflects current availabilty and prices
